Cubit Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 This one must take some beating. http://ipayroadtax.com/no-such-thing-as-road-tax/i-knocked-a-cyclist-off-his-bike-i-have-right-of-way-he-doesnt-even-pay-road-tax/
Lwillis Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Stupid cyclist how dare they be in the road.!!! Causes danger to road users by making us move into the oncoming traffic lane.
norman Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Read it earlier, as a trainee beanie this could have massive repercussions, dumb bint. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
sixwheeledbeast Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 It just gets better. You can delete your twitter account but I am sure they'll find you. Also has it's own hashtag on twitter now Drivers like this don't deserve a bicycle, never mind a car.
Oxo Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 But bike riders do take the urine and DO NOT have a licence, insurance or pay to upkeep the road.
norman Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Big generalisation there... Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Lwillis Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 But bike riders do take the urine and DO NOT have a licence, insurance or pay to upkeep the road. Apparently car tax and the other taxes assoiated with driving doesn't generate enough money to pay for the roads anyway so it's all in a big pot with most of the other taxes generated. So if the cars don't make enough money to fix the roads, why should the cyclists get to use it Aswell without paying something towards it. Had a cyclist the other day on a single country road , riding in the middle and wouldn't stop to let me past. Even at the passing places. He knew I was there, had tooted and all I got was the finger!!
norman Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Tbf the damage and subsequent upkeep of the roads for cycles is minimal so hence the tax situation perhaps Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Cubit Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 Tbf the damage and subsequent upkeep of the roads for cycles is minimal so hence the tax situation perhaps But what about all the gouges they make in the road when sliding along after being hit by dozy bitches tweeting whilst driving?
james.wilson Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Lol road tax for bikes would be un enforceable. I wonder as there are cycle lanes dedicated to bikes is there scope on the most dangerous sections for parts to be motor vehicles only. also re road tax not being enough. I thought if all the money from road tax was invested in the roads and public transport we would have the best transport system in the world securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
