Vini Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 Finally got round to sorting this tonight, during testing all was well. But since it has triggered, the LED has not stopped flashing. Arming/Disarming has not helped. Anyway to sort/reset this? Quote
Lwillis Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 You need to drop the power to it for a few seconds before setting, we used to fit a n/c button on the bottom of the panel or adj the rkp. Quote

Is that drop power to the GLX, or panel? Bit of a pain really - can I disable the LED totally, given its location it would be fairly obvious if that was the PoE? Quote
Vini Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 The LED was off when closed/clear, after triggering the GLX during testing, the LED is constantly flashing. Quote
9651 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Change the output of the panel to detector reset. Then connect the 0v of your viper to it. This will power cycle the unit every time you set the alarm, thus clearing the led. In the book of words Quote

Vini Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) I've read the book of words and it's got me confused... My outputs; 1001 Set 1002 SPK Driver 1003 Bell 1004 Strobe 0001 Fire 0002 Panic 0003 Intruder 0004 Assist 0005 Omit 0006 Fault 0007 Confirm 0008 Tamper Is it simply a case of changing 0003 Intruder to DetRst? Would that change all my Zones set to Intruder to DetRst, and if so, is that a problem? I'm guessing I cannot set a specific zone to a specific output via RKP. Looking at the wiring within the panel, I am able to identify the Viper, however, cannot see how changing the wiring in there would help. Help? Edited June 1, 2013 by Vini Quote
james.wilson Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 The 000x outputs are off the comm trigger lead so you cant use them, it will have to be one of the 100x outputs your currently not using Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

I am not entirely sure which Zone 1004 is in the panel... Do I even need to be in the panel!?!? Quote
