matthew.brough Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 well I have to say the 10 meg up that tsi is currently on seems to work well enough. Ill move it to our bigger servers but there seems little point. All running on a little hp microserver too for now. 10Mb as in leased line / EFM / FTTC? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/

arfur mo Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 lol, "platform" just looked at the thumbnail The next train is the 12:45 arriving at platform 3 calling at --- must be the airport terminus If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
matthew.brough Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Fttc As you say, works fine even with the number of tsi users. Running it systems of domestic broadband in a garage seems quite viable nowadays. Especially as FTTC has up to 20Mb upstream. Just think, you could lead the way in an alarm signalling revolution by putting a couple of servers in your garage with a FTTC connection. No need for any of this expensive leased line stuff. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
james.wilson Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I think like the old direct lines for signalling if you had enough servers dotted in different locations etc it would be more reliable overall securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
