Wired Intruder Alarm Book Advice Wanted

When I was an apprentice (and still refer to this book) we used "Electronic Success" by Tom Duncan that has helped me an awful lot and applies to a huge range of electronics.

When alarms started going above relays and diodes, book rangess on electronics by 'b. babanni' did wonders for me.

Have to say though, Page 3 in the Sun had easier ti read circuit diagrams and flow charts .
