Vcl Protocol

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any domes other than the ACUIX range that supports VCL protocol nowadays? I have a large site with VCL domes starting to drop offline and I am looking for something I can use as a direct replacement without having to rip the matrix out and change the protocol on all the existing cameras. As good as the ACUIX range is, it is a little costly over most of the competition.

cheers

360 vision make cameras with vcl protocol in them.

afaik its the old people that sold out vcl to honeywell

They do indeed.

Oh god I hope the 360 vision cameras are better than they first came out.

Their DVR was another piece of tat. A lot of money for a piece of ****!

How could I forget about 360 vision....... How the memories come flooding back of dome covers filled with ball bearings and a floppy camera module after a windy day.
