matthew.brough Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Looks to be extended the wrong way to me. Sad loss as he was probably being trained on it. Some supervision ehh? Had the apprentice call for assistance to sort a cam in a weird position. He was willing and I ascertained he was safe with me to supervise. We did the job and we all lived. Is the union rep in da house? He'll be sleeping. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
matthew.brough Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Not really a joking matter is it? I wasn't joking, looking at the time goncall isn't usually around. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
Scotmod Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Pretty much how I feel when I bang on about h&s. lives lost just by turning up to work.
matthew.brough Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I suppose if we thought about all the potential danger we get exposed to we'd stay inside all day. I wonder if roads would be designed in the way they are if we were designing them today. Having 2 lanes of traffic in opposite directions traveling at speed with no barrier sounds rather dangerous by modern standards. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/

Different to opening a door to a 4 metre drop though isn't it. AND being given the keys to the door.

I do. 14 years driving and no crashes. What I can't work out is why you would have a door and just a drop at the other side? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
MrHappy Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I do. 14 years driving and no crashes. What I can't work out is why you would have a door and just a drop at the other side? loading ? staircase removed for replacement ? all sorts of reasons but the risk should have been properly managed Mr Veritas God
norman Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 14 years driving and no crashes. Doesn't mean you are a good driver though... Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Cubit Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 What I can't work out is why you would have a door and just a drop at the other side? Because someone paid scant regard to H&S?
