Gets round the issue of not being able to have any grade 3 systems with 'vipers'.

Must admit do quite like the Knight products we use.

I like the knight stuff too

Never had cause for complaint. We use the confirmed pas, heavy duty and roller shutter contacts and some of the exit buttons. Love them to bits and extremely reliable. Only stuff we don't buy from Aritech.

Wouldn't it be easier just to standardise on a grade 3 contact or is there a significant price difference? We only use the yend74's on both grades.

we use more flush than surface..  were at one point using the XA41MULTI as our standard contact and I can't remember why we still don't...  generally use the elmdene G2 flush contacts now as they are easy to fit and been reliable for us.

We're using the CQR contacts and rollers . I've never had any issues with those .

I'm too heavy handed for the flush g2 elmdene ones with the tiny lids .

The cqr stuff works well for me too.

The local eddys stocks quite a bit of their kit

Elmdene here but was sent some Knight by mistake and fitted it to my own home, actually quite like it.

Will give it some thought.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
