We have been continuously busy for the last 8 months or more, we just cant cope any more. As we get one job done, another 3 drop in

I have decided set another engineer on and get him out on the road purely to cover service and maintenance

Going to run up to Van Monster in Warrington and pick a van up next week and get it kitted out ready for the job.

I have been looking at insurance options, People are telling me to go for fleet insurance as this will be the third vehicle I have

Can anyone advise on the best way to go, Either separate policies or a fleet policy and who do you guys recommend

I have been quoted some silly figures for fleet insurance so far.

We have a fleet policy.

Works out cheaper and anyone can drive the vans.

Don't suppose you have a rough idea what I should be paying for 3 vehicles,    I have had 2 quotes, one at £2,600 and one at £2,900

We have a 4 vehicle fleet policy, Pm me you contact details and I'll get our broker to call you. Did us a great deal.

What van are you after?

We pay something like that but its because i needed under 25 covering. Before that the cheapest over 21 cover was 2k for one van!

We only have 2 vans on the fleet policy now since 2 of us opting out of a company car, we paid £1400 this year. One of our lads is only just 21..

As its only for service calls, just looking for a small Vauxhall Astravan 1.7CDTi or 1.9CDTi

We have an Astra £900 for a clutch and master fly wheel. :(

Was going to get the new shape one, probably spend about 3k - 4k on one for a decent one with reasonable miles

Didn't know they did fleet on 2 vehicles. The fleet was alot better on young drivers than the standard policy, insured 4 for the price of 1 and a bit when compared!

What year are you thinking?

Ours is on a 58 plate £2.3 k from the auctions had 70k on the clock when we got it.

It now has well over 100k on the clock.
