matthew.brough Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Would anyone here recommend their offspring came into the industry? For me its a big no. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
norman Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Nope Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
matthew.brough Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Makes me wonder sometimes why we don't leave and do something more profitable and less stressful. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
goncall Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 If offered a real apprenticeship Id let my kids do it,it will come full circle like it always does in trades, alarm man or women is still a decent job imo,not alarm engineer as they don't exsist
oasistechnical Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 if i had known the hassel i get from every angle i would have never left the electrical industry!! yep i am a FULLY qualified electrical engineer, but the one thing i do like is when i get a happy client that really does understand what we do for them and likes what we do. (and does not winge on the price!) Oasis you never know we might still be here in a few months, but i cannot see a way out of it at the moment.
Busta Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Hey Orion12, I worked for Chubb as an installer. Training was quite good from the Clifton Street branch in London. Anyway, good luck with the job!
norman Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 We like to refer as 'Chubbs' on here. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
