Cubit Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 To me, this highlights the problems with manufacturers and forums. Management seem reluctant to participate, if someone does post they usually/often have to deal with complaints or feel it necessary to defend an issue. This at the risk of landing themselves in hot water with management. Very quickly turns into a negative.
Rulland Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 QFA Andrew, there's a fine line to be drawn in participating in a forum as a manufacturer/distributor, I think Mr Tex has balanced his input quite admirably, others could learn from him and their respective companies could actually benefit.
Joe Harris Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 The bureaucracy involved in replying for some large firms is a huge obstacle. Legal teams would struggle to authorise them to post 'Hi'

Legal teams would struggle to authorise them to post 'Hi' i know i worked for UTC (Guardall) in a sales role, was banned from participating in forums, and BSIA for two years, one of the main reasons i left.
