I have a pyronix sterling 10 panel and want to fit an internal sounder "Lynteck sound bomb" reading through the panel fitting instructions I cannot see were to wire the internal siren which only has 2 wires one red one black. help.
Guest farrellcom Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Red to bell +Black to bell - 22593 Thanks. Obvious I surpose, you must think im stupid. Was under the impresion for some reson you could have one sound without the other I must be wrong. Thanks mate.
Brian c Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 you're internal speaker terminates to " +SPKR - " you're external SAB (bell box) terminates to " B+ B- STB BA BT " that way they will work independantly as you thought If you don't know......ask.

Deltaseven Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Red to bell +Black to bell - you're internal speaker terminates to " +SPKR - "you're external SAB (bell box) terminates to " B+ B- STB BA BT " 22598 I could be wrong here (and am ready to be corrected as I have not installed the Stirling 10 before), but surely is the soundbomb is connected to Bell + and Bell - you will get a constant output from the soundbomb? I would have thought it correct to connect to Bell + and Bell Activation (BA)? Or am I missing something obvious? D7
Brian c Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 sorry, thought we were talking about internal speaker (16 ohm). The sound bomb should be connected to B+ and BA as Deltaseven pointed out If you don't know......ask.
Guest farrellcom Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Yep, D7 will be right then. I didnt realise pyronix used different descriptions for their bell connections. we got there in the end! 22609 Thanks eveyone for your advice if i heed anymore help i know were to come
