Guest mike2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Hello, Considering buying a Karizma Plus panel for a installing as a relatively competent DIYer / wannabe sparky! Is this system ok? Are those ID "biscuits"(!?) reliable? Would I be better with a Texecom panel? Many thanks, Mike
Guest mike2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Thank you for those replies. I can't forsee any nearby major sources of interference, but it does sound like from what you're saying that if I want to maximise the reliability of the system then I should probably go for complete conventional wiring rather than the iD system. Is the Karizma Plus panel itself reliable? How does it compare to Galaxy 16? Thanks, Mike
Guest Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 go galaxy every time...tho if you really want to play,,go for the g18 if £££ allow..
bellman Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 NOTHING compares to Galaxy. The most flexible panel i've ever used... But it's ££££ Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer.
