stephent Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Hi. I have one of these systems and have been very pleased with it. Recently, though it seems to be impossible to set it from the keypad(132KP) although the 4 button key fob still works. It was installed by a guy who is no longer in business / contactable. I have tried the default master password and have documention available. Is it possible to reset the master password and then re-configure the zones? Thanks Stephen
sjsturner Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 If you do not have the codes for the system i.e master user and engineer code then it will need crashing and re-programming by an engineer, unfortunatly we cannot give out this information nor guide you to any on here as its against forum rules. The bloke who installed it would have been usefull as he probably knows the engineer code for a start, but any local nsi or ssaib firm will be able to do this for you.
arfur mo Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 depends if protected by the original installer, but the system can be defaulted and started from scratch by a competent engineer, or just master/engineer default codes can be restored, but forum rules don't allow us to give out this advice in the public forums. if you ring Risco they will know of installers near you that use the Agility kit. If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

arfur mo Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 just a thought, check to see if any of the keys are stuck under the casing If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
SparkyUK Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I had this issue once before - customer was able to use one of the two attached keypads to operate the alarm, but keypad 1 was not responding to anything. I disconnected the keypad +/- and waited a while, then reconnected it. A reboot, if you like. That seemed to resolve it on that visit. It generated a tamper fault when I did it, but was able to silence the alarm with the other keypad. Not sure if you can do that with the keyfob.
