You don't have to help in the DIY section same as a customer choosing to do it himself or get an engineer in.

personally, i have long thought the phrase 'get an engineer in" should be banned within the bwf filter, how ever correct or well meaning its meant, its simply not helpful to the inquirer will do more harm as it just imho presents a protectionist even 'better than though' image.

i would rather, like this o/p, actually ask in here than decide to connect it to the mains perhaps having misunderstood a drawing, without asking anyone where he/they could be placed in a far greater risk.

There are times when someone should get an engineer in. When you are teaching someone to swim you don't throw them in the diving pool, they learn in the beginners pool.
