I think the average is irrelevant to a victim of burglary as there are too many variables.

But matt seems to have a different view of what is valuable with monitoring an alarm to what I do.

It is not always about catching theCrim, usually they are long gone, with just the bell. The most important and common thing is that people know there is an issue and can attend site accordingly.

Made off with 5 cctv cameras and a dvr?

Would you believe the place sells adhesive tapes. Figure that ?!

Well excited. Just sat here doing some work and saw it flash into the buffer so grabbed it and even rang the keyholder personally. This woman had been very very mean to me previously so I thought I'd let her know with a human voice of sincerity that her back door was demolised and stock prevented from being nicked due to the alarm system she felt was a crock of ****. I don't think the robot would have put it in such a way :)

As it is on SIA you could see the sequence of events although that confused the police a little the fact I knew what zones were tripping.

Random break in winner for us EVER... the mortuary that had 2 plug in electric heaters and some some soap etc stolen.

Will never understand that one. You would all understand more if you saw how creepy the place was and the other unsecured "higher risk" sites that were adjacent.
