james.wilson Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Well, back to the drawing board for me. Just had an email that my bargain Xperia Androidpad isn't available. Bah. JW do you have any experience of the Siemens SPC eng browser mode working on Fruitpad? Only real reason I chose android was that I knew both SPC and iOn are fine with Chrome. All the apps I was after work on android or ios anyway. i have no i anything im afraid securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

datadiffusion Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 As it happens I'm going for the non 3G Android version, which is available. 90% of the time I can use customers net, or my plug in wifi box, or use my phone as a mifi.... etc. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
matthew.brough Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Cheapskate. Get 3G, much easier although be wary about using giff gaff or you'll get your sim barred. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
datadiffusion Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I was - but got told no longer available! I still have doubts about fruitpad when I know that Chrome works... As regards gg surely not if using the tablet data plan? Besides my mobile is a proper O2 contract with tethering allowed... So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
matthew.brough Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Got banned from gg for using sims in fruit pad. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
datadiffusion Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 "Note: You can use the SIM in your iPad, tablet, or mobile internet dongle. Or you can connect to other devices using your smartphones tethering feature." I think that's all OK now. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
matthew.brough Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Only 3 weeks since I got banned? I cancelled my 7 sims in protest www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
