He has NOT said, so far, that he has built a system for commercial reasons but you have simply assumed that to be the case. Just because the design of a panel may be beyond your capabilities does not mean no one should be allowed. As others have said. Neons? And as the winter draws in, your idea of a 4mm T&E room heater. yee gods man, 8 ZONES are you that gullible ti take the risk? as far as it go's, to correct i'm not stuck at simple keypad design levels, i am very capable, and more than capable enough to design and build a fire panel from scratch - i just have no need, and you have no idea if this o/p is capable or what the true need is either. no idea what your on about with the room heater or who said for that matter. If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Adi Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 i''m astinished at the flipancy dusplayed, i think the possible consequences require the application of common sense. this guy is trying ti design a fire panel with little idea why the regulations are their, not just any fire panel btw, but an 8 zone version. now that implies to me a reasonable size building would you thnk? perhaps offices, factiry even a block of flats or a playschool joke all you want, i just hope your concience's can remain a clear! BS because thats the brief of his project which he didn't choose BS because he is from a country other than the UK that respects that as a good standard for historical or other reasons BS because he hopes to design one and start manufacturing into a country with a poor record of actually having installations in the first place? The landmine thing is totally different. He was an utter charlatan. Not one part of that device had ANY relevant working parts. Again good luck to him and his country. his early post it said to comply with BS, so lets say that is the honest intent is earnest (because we don't know otherwise), you, me or he can buy a book giving all the regulations needed to conform, but that book won't explain how fully to achieve that aim.
