9448+ code change

hi, i have a 9448+ panel everything seems to be ok but it just wont let me change the user code from the default 1234,? any ideas.

Hi , either you are doing it wrong , or the "new" code already exists , as the second user or engineer.

6 then enter

1234

new code eg 5678 <beep, beep>

new code again eg 5678 <beep beep>

dont start your new code with a zero

thanks i did the 6 bit with the codes but i dont think i pressed enter after 6?

i will try it in a little while thanks a lot for your help

hy, i tried it the way you suggested, but when i key in the new code i dont get the 2 beeps and it still stays set with 1234 as the code............. any ideas? thanks

Try changing to another code in case, as mentioned above, what tou want to change it to conflicts.

(You werent trying to change it 7890 were you?)
