How To Program Galaxy 512 Outputs

Hi friends,

I'm security systems technician and found a Micro tech Galaxy 512 panel in object which I need to program to transfer alarm at monitoring station. These panels are very rare in my country:)

So I'll use Gsm transmitter (inputs controlled by negative impulse). Need to transfer only common alarm signal, no OPN/CLO. Panel divided in two partitions

In 53 cell was able to change outputs polarity, but they are stable after alarm. How to program outputs to transmit NEG only after alarm ?

No. 2 output looks like dry NO/NC relay to me, maybe I can use this?

So if I understand what you want is that you just want to send an trigger when the alarm has activated.

You mention the system is in 2 groups, do you want 1 output to trigger if either group has an alarm or do you want 1 output to trigger if 1 group is activated and another output to trigger if the 2nd group is activated?

Yes, correct, need to send a trigger after alarm.

Just need output to trigger if either group has an alarm

Ok, follow these steps

Engineer Mode>Menu 53(Outputs)

Choose output and press enter

Select 1 = OP Function

Select 4=Intruder and press ent

Just check in option 3 - output polarity that it says POS. I think it defaults to that. If not just invert it so it is.

Press A to move down to option 7 O/P Groups and press ENT

Make sure all the groups you want to respond are selected. If you are using 2 groups I am assuming you are using groups A1 and A2?

That's it.
