Corey Jones Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 I have been working on it after buying some new wire strippers. I think I have all of the zones hooked up properly. I made each room a zone on a loop. My wires are red and green so I nutted a red - > green -> red -> green so that at the end of each loop I am left with a red wire and a green wire. I connected the red wires to the Zone and the green wires to ground. Now I have to buy little screwdrivers as I dont know which moving box my set it in so that I can do the sensors. That being said I also think I have connected the AC and siren correctly. Because of how the board labels the four connectors for the keypad I have no idea which wire goes where, can anyone tell me how to hook up the keypad? Another question is all of my glass break sensors have 4 wires in the sheath, do I use all four or do I just use the red/green? If I do use all four how do I hook those up to the extra 2 to the control panel? I will put up another picture for everyone once its complete with labels for any future figuring out!
james.wilson Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Do your glass break detectors need analysers or are they 12v securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

Corey Jones Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Here is the next report! Worked on it more today. I think I got the system up and running, leds start up and keypad works. Nothing fried so thats good! I still dont know where to connect the additional two wires that the glass break sensor requires to be connected to the control panel. Its FG-1625. Hit a new wall now, programming instructions are terrible. Does anyone know how to program one of these? Its alphanumeric. All I want the system to do is: Disarmed: chime immediately when any sensor is tripped, indicate what zone it is on the keypad. Armed: sound the siren immediately when any sensor is tripped, indicate what zone it is on the keypad. If someone knows of a better set of instructions then what comes with it or can give me the correct keys to set up a zone that way then I can go through and do the rest. Thanks guys!
james.wilson Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Sorry mate never used one or seen one, never been an ademco fan. But the fg glass break that sounds like a normal flex guard part number?
