bloxta Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Hi all I have just installed a Visonic Powermax for a friend today but am having trouble clearing down an alarm on Zone 3, I have gone into diagnostics and it is seeing the detector no problem at all, also it is reporting CPU tamper, bell tamper but they are all clear and working. I powered the system up last night at home and it was working fine (I set/unset and triggered alarms off much to the missus delight) Having spent many years installing hard wired systems with very little issues I am keen to start fitting these little beauty's as they arn't as labour intensive and don't create too much mess. Your help will be greatly appreciated
matthew.brough Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Power max has been discussed here a few times and I think your trusted cabled systems might be your friend here if you want to keep the hassle free systems you've been enjoying or choose an alternative wireless system. The new tex 12-w gives the freedom of wireless without the greif similar gear creates. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
datadiffusion Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Assuming the OP used to install the Veritas anyway, it would be a doodle to switch to the 12... So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
sixwheeledbeast Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 You have to arm and disarm the system with the trouble light off to clear the faults.
andy121974 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Gotta say I have never got on with the powermax. If im going wireless im using the enforcer. So simple and very end user friendly.
