Phil the fix
Thanks all. When the gales and p*****g rain stop I'll run up the ladder and try the wire swap. The pword thread is intriguing but I'll leave that to your professionals. for now.

Phil the fix
Hi. Finally got some time to deal with this after being away and awful weather. Sort of progress. I found a hidden fuse had popped so replaced that. Seems to have resolved the zone faults but now have the 24 hr light on, I presume indicating a break in the tamper circuit. Tried swapping the wires as suggested by Matthew and Peter but no difference. Put the old Omnicrom back on and everything works fine so I have to assume it is the new box wiring. A thought is I have connected one strobe wire to the STB terminal but not sure where to put the other. Have tried around but no cure. Also tried leaving strobe wire disconnected.
