Seems a simple solution to the problem. Sack the humans and deploy more self service tills. Job done. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
norman Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Only the same when the Christian workforce don't want to work Sunday, but the spin as usual has been put this way... Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
matthew.brough Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 Only the same when the Christian workforce don't want to work Sunday, but the spin as usual has been put this way... Same rules apply. You don't want to work the rota'd hours. Replace with self service or someone who will play the game. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
norman Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Same rules do apply, they wont force any workers to go against a religion or belief. If you don't like it, as with anything else vote with your feet. I'm guessing your going to be shafted @ M&S Burnley then Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
matthew.brough Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 Mrs Matt does like m&s food. More of a Burger King man myself. The more and more difficult employees get is it a shock employers do all they can to replace them? My trusted robots don't strike, refuse do do anything or sue me. Tonight's dinner is a meat feast. Wonder if they will refuse to deliver it? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
norman Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 No, but neither would M&S Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
MrHappy Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Awe maybe M&S should get better employment contracts? Mr Veritas God
matthew.brough Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 Awe maybe M&S should get better employment contracts? Maybe they should get automated tills? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
Cubit Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Same rules apply. You don't want to work the rota'd hours. Replace with self service or someone who will play the game. What the article also fails to mention is the Muslims cooperate in othe ways. Sunday working is the common one. Xmas is also another where they don't mind working. It's easy to get drawn into the scaremongering but looking at the bigger picture is a safer bet. As for your suggestion of Self serve tills. Spawn of the devil them things. I'll go without before using one.
matthew.brough Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 No, but neither would M&S I would go ape if I bought alcohol and got made to feel like a 2nd class person waiting for someone to have to come and serve it to me as if I was buying a book containing explicit porn. Work a both ways. As the customer I'd feel embarrassed by buying something perfectly legal to do so. If I avoided the Muslim tills I'd be a racist. **** humans. Self service all the way. I'd love it if my background meant I didn't celebrate christmas. I'd be working all over it charging a premium for the time. Why don't you like self service? I love em and now refuse to use the human tills even if I have to queue for the robot. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
