kingkongdaz Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Chaps, What would you recommend for a (static external domes) which is nice and crisp picture wise without spending a fortune on mega pixel cameras. Something in the region of 700/800tvl? What domes do mainly install on domestic systems? Thanks Darran http://www.spyingeye.co.uk
datadiffusion Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 These look good - http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3842 but not tried yet. Mr B has tried an indoor version (not Sony though and only 500tvl) - http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3824 You might need to ask nicely to get forum member discount though, otherwise at least one of those will show up a fair bit dearer than the rest of TSi pay. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
norman Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 James has also done some comparisons iirc. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
datadiffusion Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Are they posted up? So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

matthew.brough Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Thanks for that, but looking more into the 700-900 or even 1000 tvl. Why ? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
kingkongdaz Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Naturally, the higher the TVL the better the quality of the image. http://www.spyingeye.co.uk
matthew.brough Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Naturally, the higher the TVL the better the quality of the image. Take it you have some super resolution recording gear and monitors then? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
kingkongdaz Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Rather the CCD chip too. We install using rg59, but just trying to locate a good domestic dome camera. Take it you have some super resolution recording gear and monitors then? That's what we want to offer along with the lower spec CCTV. Like for like showing the custy. http://www.spyingeye.co.uk
