Guest Echo Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Ether8000 looks similar with Pico2000, but in fact they are greatly different. Firstly, in hardware: they are based on different chips. Secondly, in functionality: 1. Frame Rate. When one chip is used to capture video from multi-cameras, Pico2000 losses frames while Ether8000 series do not. Thus Ether8000's speed is twice as Pico2000's. 2. Remote Control. Ether8000 series support remote control by IE, but Pico2000 does not. 3. Video Color Adjustment. It brings a lot of trouble for Pico2000 to adjust video color. It's done by hardware, and all the 4 cameras are adjusted at the same time. However, our Ether8000 can be adjusted independently for each camera, by software. 4. Stability of Video. When one chip is used to capture multi-channel videos, the picture does not jitter. Upon this function, Ether8000 series cards are among the top in the world. 5. Technical support. Since we are the designer and manufacturer of Ether8000, we can design to your specific requirements and provide you after-sale service promptly. Thanks all. Echo
