PeterJames Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Dump duty and revenue to fuel how then do you charge HGV and gas guzzlering Chelsea Tanks a deterent duty, without all drivers being charged at a hevier rate? Errr they use more fuel just starting the engine let alone driving anywhere. It stands to reason that the more fuel you use the more car tax you would pay. That said my annual car tax is just under £300 my fuel bill is £100 per week my wifes car tax is £20 pa and her fuel bill is £40 pcm not sure how you could put car tax on the fuel without me losing out
datadiffusion Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Yup my Defender was £70 a tank lasted about 5 minute drive.. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
arfur mo Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 One thing i co like is being able to tax just for a month, we have a boat parked on the drive, a 4x4 would be very handy for towing and launching it. being a good weather past time, when we get bad or wet summer weather i could simply sorn it. If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
