EggyBum69 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 just to mention ive bought 4 960h cameras (edit not those i posted 1st) its the normal metal dome type not the anti vandal ones as im having this dvr an might get the folks one at a later date,
EggyBum69 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 I'm not James (obv!) but I say yes because you just need 4 x BNC leads to connect to the dvr. thats sorted bud Yeah should be fine. Just don't mix and match baluns from different manufacturers. Also if you ever plan on upgrading to hdsdi then you will need coax. got a few hundred metres of high grade solid copper core solid copper shield coax at the folks garage and twin cable( for2 lnb dish setups) solid copper core solid copper shield coax , id hate to see how much that stuff costs these days bought it in 2004 i think hdsdi is great but way too dear at the moment
james.wilson Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I disagree the secware sdi stuff is about a 50% Premium. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
EggyBum69 Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 i got 4 new qvis eye 650tvl 960h for £147 (for the 4) from a person not far from here who had only had a standard d1 dvr so couldn't use there full res (they sold there dvr too probably gone to hdsdi now) a 1tb sv35 an the dvr from you at just over £120 so about £315 plenty good enough for there intended location £142.20 each for a hdsi is good tho, james vgood. for the moneythey must be popular at that price for 1080p but its the dvr cost that hits home hardest 1.5k for 4 channels wow
