Hello and welcome Guest_sandra_*,

I work a lot on the Europlex system (3GS) and they are a superior control to anything else on the market.

They are used for the majority of financial and high security applications and are reliable and easy to use.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Norman is quite correct, Eurpolex panels are very Capable and large amount of financial institutions use them along with many other high security premises.

It is difficult to comment on them, as this is an open forum and you are a guest poster. But suffice to say if your security company is specifying the product and providing it is installed to the correct standards then you will have a very capable system.

Personally I would reccomend that you get in an specialist installer who has many years of pedigree in protectiong properties of this nature as they will have gained an eviable knowledge of both Banking and Insurance requirements for a risk of this nature.

Many installers will be able to install a system within a bank and it will function correctly, but most will not have insurance that will cover this level of risk. Please check your installer out with your insurance company, before placing any order for a system of this type.

HI Sandra

as Colin das said it is not sensible to comment to much in an open forum.

but the company i work for uses 3GS on installations in our local health authority as well as for a leadind utility company and we find them a very powerful and useful panel. there is the ability to actually reprogram the literals(programming) so as you can make it do what ever you want (within reason).

the main drawback i find is as an engineer fault finding can sometimes be a pain if you are inexperienced with them. But after awhile (3 years in my case) you get better at finding your way around them. the same thing can be said of other panels - galaxys etc.

i would suggest you get europlex to give you an demostration before you buy so as you get an better overall picture of what the system will do

first off i find this post strange....you cant be a british bank..as only a small number of installers would be allowed by insurance cos to install in banks..tho the 3gs is the best intruder system on the market..
