Lwillis Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 No mate, since the takeover of the company I worked for I have been promoted to Operations Manager, with the intention of being trained to Branch Manager, so its branch stock I am wanting to control. Congrats. Have a look at sage and cash first at least then its all controller via 1 app.
PSE Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Sage Instant will do limited stock control, Sage 50 will do everything and more
timmo66 Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Will it generate alerts when stock is low?
PSE Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 If I remember correctly, It prompted you to order when it hits a threshold, Re-Order quantity can be adjusted
timmo66 Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Only problem I may have is that Sage isn't on my machine, and does the company pay per user?
MrHappy Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Only problem I may have is that Sage isn't on my machine, and does the company pay per user? I'd assume the best way for the co. to control its stock would be though Mentor's Cash for Windows ? Mr Veritas God
timmo66 Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Must admit I've not seen anything about stock on cash. Does this work in the same way as sage?
MrHappy Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Must admit I've not seen anything about stock on cash. Does this work in the same way as sage? purchasable module, I assume Sage & Cash come from the new owner ? Mr Veritas God
timmo66 Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 We are using cash and sage from the old company at the moment, until it all merges into one.
MrHappy Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Might be an idea to ask the parent co. if they use Cash for stock control & they might get your version to updated to match theres ? Mr Veritas God
