Hoppo
Hi, I have an I-on40 and have successfully updated the boot loader and firmware to Version 4.04.14 The system has reset everything to defaults and I want to log on using my laptop as the 'Installer' but I get the error: ERROR: INSTALLER ACCESS DISABLED I can enter the 'Installer' mode using the keypad, but want to upload my old settings that are saved on my laptop. How do I enable Installer access over the network? Many thanks

Hoppo
Amazing! You gave me the correct answer within 5 minutes - thank you very much. I had been searching in the installer menu for over an hour, and had not thought to look in the user menu. I'll let you know about the 'remote keypad priority' function ... Hoppo
Another quick question ... The manufacturer website says that the new Version 4.04.14 software gives the following improvement: • When accessing the panel using a web browser, there is an option for browsing directly to the virtual keypad without having to log on to the panel. You can enable or disable this feature. In the Installer menu I have ticked the box saying 'VKP Instant' (VKP - Virtual Key Pad), however when I try to log into the alarm using my Ipad or Iphone it still comes up with the login screen. (I do this by typing the alarm's IP address into Safari - http://192.168.1.99) How do you browse directly to the Virtual Key Pad? Many thanks. At this point you are ahead of me - I've still not got my test 160 plumbed in properly yet so still on 4.03... As for customers, after the farce with 4.03c on one of my partitioned 40's I'm holding back.
