Hoppo
Another quick question ... The manufacturer website says that the new Version 4.04.14 software gives the following improvement: • When accessing the panel using a web browser, there is an option for browsing directly to the virtual keypad without having to log on to the panel. You can enable or disable this feature. In the Installer menu I have ticked the box saying 'VKP Instant' (VKP - Virtual Key Pad), however when I try to log into the alarm using my Ipad or Iphone it still comes up with the login screen. (I do this by typing the alarm's IP address into Safari - http://192.168.1.99) How do you browse directly to the Virtual Key Pad? Many thanks. OK - I have the answer to my question: After enabling VKP Instant in the installer Comms section, to browse directly to the keypad you need to go to: http://xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx/keypad.cgi This brings up the keypad on your iphone/tablet/pc and you can then enter your alarm code and set the alarm. (Hint - use the 'share' button on your iphone when the keypad is displayed and 'save to homescreen' to set an icon for your alarm). Hope this helps someone. timmo66
Have you got it hooked up outside of the local network too? Assuming its password protected as well as user code?
Hoppo
Yeah thats interesting, does it adjust to the screen size by itself? Yes, it does adjust to the screensize automatically on my iphone - looks best sideways on (landscape mode) Have you got it hooked up outside of the local network too? Assuming its password protected as well as user code? It's only accessible on my wireless network (which is password protected). To set/unset the alarm you still need to know the alarm code as well.
