Guest RICHL
If the van is repairable will it insurance "cat D"? - ie forever listed as having had a major ding, which will obviously affect its resale value?

Guest simmo
Insurance engineer today said it was a straightforward repair - I think it is only Class C or D if it is a total write off. Personally I'd rather have the repair it's less hassle and less time for the van off the road. And those good guys in the MIB take forever to pay out so no surprises there!
