Tcmichael
I've just moved into a new house with a santronic 9651 alarm. I've got a user code but not an engineers code (default doesn't work). We've got a tamper alarm and I need to reset. Any help appreciated.
james.wilson
You probably need to clear the fault. If its still in fault a reset wont help as the fault is still there. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. Rulland
If its progged for engineer reset on tamper then it requires the engineer code to clear it unfortunately.
al-yeti
What's display show?
datadiffusion
You might have to try and set to reveal the fault on the screen. As above, if the fault is still there, reset is irrelevant at this stage. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
al-yeti
As Dr fusion says, so if it user reset and it displays the tamper ie a pir cover off might clear it, or keypad not fixed down correctly , see if any covers are loose, then like he said try setting, otherwise yes you need engineer reset / repair
