Galaxy for the new stuff

Texecom, for old menvier replacement. Handy for the keypads with zones, and iD we have out there.

9651 for hw cheapy domestic

Am I right in thinking Honeywell have put the flex into a metal end station now?

Hope so dont like the plastic box, maybe they giving a free external antenna for the rf card?

No, it's the G2 metal box, and the modules don't have connectors, so you'd have to fit externally like with the G2.

The latest preso from Honeywell shows the Flex positioned for price under the G2-20, but still above the G2-12 as there is no 12 zone flex. Since there's little need for >12 zones for a majority of domestic installs, then I'm not sure why they don't just create a 12 zone Flex.  The good thing I suppose is that their roadmap shows the G2 series continuing out past 2015, so the lower cost G2-12 will continue to be available.

I think a nice metal box with the rf built in would be a nice option

Show the mentality..  most answers are with radio in mind..  I'm thinking about it as purely a wired panel.

I've seen it done. Rf portals taken out of the plastic case and put inside the metal panel for neatness. Some strange reason they do it with rios as well.

Done it with a Rio in a GD before. The G2's are a bit small for it tho.
