Never fitted one, but are you sure it's not line in and out?

It is.

Like i say, fiendishly complicated them there installer manuals.

Being perfectly amicable. And only sting what i read via the simple use of Google...and what was quite possibly in the box.

I dont think it matters it will work regardless

You are correct the diagram is in the manual, but some people have told me not to connect the "set" cables and online connect the line.

They said that when they had wired other diallers that had only connected pin 2 and pin 2 and they never had a problem. This was a different panel though not a visonic. Also this person isn't an alarm engineer

Using the in out method will stop the line from being interrupted by picking up the phone, in reality I have never known a burglar to pick up the phone, normally they just cut the phone line outside

Hi guys just to let you know I've wired the auto dialler using the 2 line terminals only and it's working fine. Had no problems during set up and I tested it thoroughly and it works fine. Thanks for the advice
