sparcktikus Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 HI i Am landlord of rented property with the galaxy plus system in. I have reset all the system and want the tenant to just have user code access Strange thing is i can only reset the alarms with the managers password When user password is inputted after an alarm it says press ent to unset but when pressing ent screen just goes blank and doesnt unset. When managers password is used to unset system at same point the alarm unsets and reverts back to default screen with time & date. Trouble is i dont want the end user to have the managers password, i have gone round in circles trying loads of different settings to no avail. surely it should work as im trying to doit !! or does it not??? help pls
al-yeti Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Doesnt the managers password allow you to change the user password level?

sparcktikus Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 Anyway back to the point I have changed access authorizations to allow users to unset system etc But its just not having it When their code is inputted its not unsetting , even though their code is authorized Is there a strange anomally within the programming structure i am missing ? thanks helpful comments pls much appreciated
al-yeti Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Check user attributes perhaps But you confused matters, earlier you said after an alarm it wont unset, or you mean wont unset in general
sparcktikus Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 sorry should have been a little more clearer when i enter property and punch in the user code+enter at mk7 keypad the alarm disarms but the screen on rkp just stays blank . it is only when i enter the managers code+enter the screen reverts to its normal default screen showing date system version etc allowing me then to rearm as normal thanks
norman Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Check there are no part sets set. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Paul. Giles Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Sorry if it sounds simple but, why not ask your current maintainer how to do this?
norman Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I think you already know the answer to that one. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
