rickym61 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 HI, Hopefully someone can offer some advice.I have a Homelink 75 fitted with a 750REUR-00 (from cooper security), it was fitted by an alarm specialist, I would rather not have to contact this person as I have had some issues in the past and he doesnt have the best customer services. Recently it keeps complaining of error "Ext Siren 01 Sup Fail", this is not preventing me from activated the alarm but the fault doesnt clear, also intermittenly when not activated it will continually beep until you enter your code in then ok the message for the error. I initally presumed it was the batteries in the 750REUR-00 unit so these have been changed with the same batteries it had before, Duracell, these are brand new with an expire date of Mar 2023. Any ideas, suggestions, if it means I have to speak to the installer, will do but thought id try here first, note i have the installer code if i need to go into installer access mode. Thanks. Ricky.
james.wilson Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 its a supervision failure. meaning the device isnt polling the panel. it may be faulty. But you need to move tje unit closer to the panel to see if its a range issue. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
datadiffusion Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Have you changed anything in the house recently OP? Like, extra plasterboard walls, extra WiFi, new router? Although unlikely extra radio gear could be killing the range. As per JW move it closer and monitor results. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
