rajbps Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Hi guys, I am new to alarm. I recently bought a second hand cooper menvier 9651 and installed it. I followed the manual and the instructins on http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/29401-cooper-menvier-9651/page-2 were very helpful. I seem to have one issue. When i put power to the system, i am unable to exit installer mode. It keeps saying the zone1,2,3 tamper. Can anyone help on this pls. , Raj
Lwillis Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 You have tampers on those zones. Haven't fitted one in years. Are they zones wired DP or EOL? How is it programmed?
rajbps Posted July 3, 2014 Author Posted July 3, 2014 Its DP and the program is 03 normal alarm. I did a 98 before to reset the system to default. Then disable all the rest so from zone 04 to 08. , Raj

9651 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 its a global tamper. also look to check programming. It needs to be set to cc, not fsl. Its In the manual.
rajbps Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 i have it on cc its option 21 then 0 21: Zone ConfigurationThis command enables you to select the wiring type of the zone connectorson the control unit PCB. The default is option 0 for all models.0 Up to 8 closed circuit loop zones (CC + Com A/T).1 Up to 8 fully-supervised loop zones (FSL 2K2/4K7). Is the wiring right. I done it as it says in the book
