PeterJames Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I know it is a strange one. Money is not an issue as they have bucket loads of it. I'm not that keen on those risco watchout sensors, I used them once before and had false alarms with animals, spoke to risco and they said they are for car parks or something. The visonic alarm is not user friendly and is driving them mad. When you say the current set up did you mean their old set up?
essex-lee- Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 I did mean the old setup, nothing has been replaced yet. How does the Lovato timer relay work in this situation ? Ta
Rulland Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 It receives an input then does what you want and gives an output.
essex-lee- Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 ok, how could I use it in this situation tho ? Ta
PeterJames Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 There is stuff available that will do what you need but there is no "Off the shelf" answer. You can use a Lovato timer but you would still need to use some logic circuits before it becomes any use. Our Dvr can be programmed to do what you want, but it would require us to write a bespoke program for it. It sounds like a nice project if money is no object I wouldn't be looking at Risco products thats for sure
matthew.brough Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Stop messing about and fit an ATS. All this can be done out the box! No need for messing around with relays and custom programming. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
datadiffusion Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Still have to use Risko beams and universal wireless adaptor (think they do one) though...? Tell them its £5k and then we'll see if money really is no object! So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
