Nova-Security
Are they mounted between the shutter and the glass, if so C+K do one that ignores anything behind it, that could be a solution. Guest simonrob
Pete The instructions state that the units should be mounted within 4.6m of the glass. There is no minimum range but needs clear line of sight and a clear view of the protected glass. I have mounted them as instructed. Don't want to put foil on the glass if at all possible. Perhaps a shunt lock would be the best option? Simon

Guest
4.6 metres is alot further than 12 inch's. If the manufacture specifies that they will work from over four metres away from the glass why are you mounting them so close? Or are you trying to protect his neighboors windows as well? GBD are accustic detectors, they work by detecting sound so if you put them close to a sound source like shutters etc they will detect it. Pete 25072 but there bay windows,so if you you put them further back they will be even closer to the shutter.go with the curtain pirs in the window... bellman
*chants* Foil Foil Foil */chants* 25087 Bellman Drops to knees to worship. anyway, glass breaks don't give you the chance to be "Artistic" in the same way foil does.. and foil dosn't get set off by lorries with squeaky brakes thundering past or louts smashing bottles. or rattley shutters for that matter..
