STEWENG Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Does a keypad need to be in the protected/detection area to meet Grade 3? Also, does the whole building need to be protected or can you select areas/ rooms and leave out others? If you know the answer can you quote the spec? Thanks :0))

datadiffusion Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 With which sentiment; how is it perceived when you have 2 office units, and a shared keypad in the communal lobby? i.e link set lobby when the last unit closes so the keypad is then within a protected area? So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
Amps Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 On the subject of keypads and grading I'm still not sure if it's ok to display a systems status at grade 2. I know it can only be displayed for 30 secs at grade 3 but grade 2? I only ask as I thought it was ok to display at grade 2 but the castle panel we use when defaulted to grade 2 never shows the set status.
