goncall Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Someone has! Had an email request today to start a major high street retail install on Monday.. Like we're all just sat around waiting for the call! one or the whole chain
Ronnie Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 one or the whole chain One which came from you guys a while back mate, you know how the national accounts merry go round works.. When I started 5 years ago was all stubby work now we do a job every job now and then - we struggle to do a good enough job (to our standards) in the hours given. This particular client we've done maybe 4 or 5 new stores one or the whole chain Just to be clear it's sub request.. Sorry I know you don't like that capitalist type of working..
goncall Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Just to be clear it's sub request.. Sorry I know you don't like that capitalist type of working.. i think you should look after your own workforce first if thats what you mean
Ronnie Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 i think you should look after your own workforce first if thats what you mean I do and sometimes that means picking up sub work when we're quiet. The last 12 months of jobs (1 hand???) have been more about keeping up relationships (sometimes at cost I'll admit) rather than requiring work but I'm not one to burn bridges. Who knows what will happen!

Who knows what will happen! im not against subbies, just the fact some use them as a cheaper alternative to full time employment to the deprement of the same employees that have gave there all to a company not only for a wage but to make a profit for the company, thats where the greed goes over board imo
