MrHappy Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 old dynamic ez dvr with dvd dvr, reckon it would support a wireless mouse ? Mr Veritas God
datadiffusion Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Wireless mice just emulate standard mice. So yes. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
BUSTER Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Won't it need drivers ? Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company
datadiffusion Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I've never known a wireless mouse that doesn't emulate a standard USB mouse which will use the generic driver built into the DVR. I am assuming the DVR already supports a USB mouse? So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
MrHappy Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 never tried a wireless mouse in a dvr, I've invested the princely sum of £8.50 in HP mouse from ebuyer, As I needed an Iiyama cctv monitor, I spec & always feel there must be something better for less £ ? Mr Veritas God
Adi Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Your not wrong there, if i quoted one of those the customer would smash my head in. Acer or AOC here, if the budget allows, an IPS one, dogs dangles them. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
MrHappy Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 if i quoted one of those the customer would smash my head in. Bnc's needed, for VGA ect I'd normally go Asus or AOC Mr Veritas God
9651 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 ive got a wireless mouse on some ching chang thing in my house. Works fine!
dazoman1 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 i tried one in a nvr bout a week ago, didn't work had to get a wired one
datadiffusion Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 It will depend entirely on the wireless kit. My fujitsu wireless mouse keyboard combo I know presents itself as a HID-compliant keyboard and mouse, I'd be amazed it it didn't work on anything. But some will indeed require (not really needed) fancy drivers. Same with PS2 adaptors, I recently had to buy a Startech one (£15 not £1.50) as it was the only one that was pure hardware based. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
