Reddwarf4ever Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I think the alarm is an 840, but the installer failed to write it down and are very unhelpful... Is there any way of retrieving this info from the system, i have engineering accesss. Also, is there such a thing as an engineers manual ? I have the installer guide and user manual, but neither have the procedure to create a part set... Thanks
morph Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 There will be a sticker on the inside of it on one of the chips. The info you need is in the manuals, you just need to program it.
aissecur Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Hi, as a last resort, (and If the keypad on the system is LCD which I’m sure it will be) if you power the alarm down mains, then battery .. then power it back up it will display the panel type then the software version on the keypad for a brief few seconds. If you do attempt this, please ensure you have the relevant electrical competences before removing the control panel cover.
Alarm Protection Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 The installer guide will have all the details on how to programme the panel for part set. Under attributes. !
