Many moons ago....

You used to build up your own EWD's placinga kinetic siren into cqr box ect...

We used to have a bell module w/o a cut off timer which had the electronics in a beige plastic case but the electronics filled over with an expoy resin,

I have a little electronics projects & wanted to cover the cobbled together ebay tat so its weather proof & not recognisable as a lash up ;)

Still got tons of 'rs' black resin sticks exact same diameter as glue gun sticks.

Use them every now and again.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Beware! I'd only recommend with an old glue gun used only for that purpose!

Otherwise I just look out for SWA kits on ebay that are near sell-by date. Got a load of 3M ones lately, £1 a pop!

They were for some obscure fibre joint, just opened up all the boxes and binned the odd y-shaped plastics.

I've been googling & remembered the term "potting"

Hot melt is ideal, ta

Potting compound, messy stuff (voe, with a black desk top now).
