Replacement Dualtech Pir Recommendation Please

Hi

I have a Eurosec V40 Dualtech Quad PIR covering a detached garage measuring 8m x 8m. It's been working fine for a few years apart from the occasional 'jumbo moth' false alarm, but  It's now died and I need to replace it.  I see it's been discontinued so I'm looking for a recommendation for a different model. Performance and reliability are more important than the cost.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Mark

To a large degree a DT is a DT these days. If you visit www.securitywarehouse.co.uk take a look at the siemens detectors. Easy to wire and very reliable but the same applies to most detectors these days

why are you replacing the jumbo moth, that's possibly the problem?

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

I used to say iwise but those annoying FA's I had recently (with i-wise) have - so far - been cured by eline.

Also just done an upgrade where 2 large labs (owner pre-warned right on the limit of 'pet freindly' and might need door contacts yet...)

have been all good so far with e-line (all models pet as standard)

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Have to agree.

Everyone has there preferred kit.

Ah nice to know ... I was slated not long ago for saying they were pants and had issues with them.

These were specifically iwise DT Pet, though - never actually had a problem with plain DTAM model.
