The used to always say Honeywell Galaxy system is the best however last few I installed they been small problems relating to the board which in my view is standards are slipping.    I have been installing more Visonic Systems and the PowerMax is a great kit or even the Yale SmartPhone or SmartHome is a good system by look at Spec as the Yale SmartHome system is a Grade 2 system.

I properly get slagged for saying Yale System however the SmartHome is a grade 2 and is as good as the Galaxy, Visonic and Texecom Wireless Systems.

and rightly so!

I have only just read this post.

How can you compare all that one way tat to a two-way or mesh system?

The system grading has no correlation to quality.

System is as good as it has been installed!

Plus you got to remember that the system needs to meet the customer needs!

Anything one-way can easily be comprimised, this is not good for security.

One-way systems should only be fitted in extremely low risk circumstances.

Most here wouldn't trust one-way for anything other than a "door bell".

Visonic wireless is a pretty friendly bit of kit to use, works well and is reliable, easily sourced online and has been around for years.

Galaxy is OTT for a house IMHO and not the most user friendly either.

If using wireless mock up the installation and site the panel where all wireless devices will connect, sounds obvious but best to do this before drilling holes!
