Steven_W Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 A mate of mine is out in China at the moment, he goes out for a month at a time about 3 times a year and bulk purchases CCTV kit and various other tech stuff... He's just e-mailed me about a company called AHD (I imagine that means Analogue high Definition). Apparently they have DVRs that can record analogue, digital & IP cams in one unit, anyone had any dealings with these? I'm not sure if AHD are an OEM manufacturer for rebadging, or if they are a standalone manufacture to retail company. Anyone come across these with any links? Can't dins much online... . The decent Chinese restaurants are very nice but there is only so much Chinese food you can eat. Pizza hut and Starbucks are the only decent western food outlets I can find, followed by subways but I wouldnt want to eat Chinese subway more than once in a week. Everything over there seems like it is cooked in the same oil which has a nasty aftertaste. English bars are quite popular. Jap lager is worse than Carling and the spirits taste like paint stripper.
