ibruceuk Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 They can't reset it, but their user level allows them to override the need for a reset and still arm the system if need be. I have checked and both zones are not on pre-check Quote
james.wilson Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 And have you reset it? what happens when you trigger them? Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
al-yeti Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Has it always done this or just started recently? Have they always done that? Also did you try system restart ? Or deleting them and putting them back? Quote
ibruceuk Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 I have tried a restart and I think they've always done it. It's more a case of wanting to know why they do it than it causing a problem as the system usually set without a code and the keypad is only allocated to groups A1-A5 so only these set. The fires are on group A8 so it's only when using a code to set the system tries to set A8 and comes up with the RF Check thing. I'll try deleting the zones and re-creating them see if that solves it. Quote
james.wilson Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 id test em. i dont use gal rf so it may be nothing. But as what your expecting from them id test em in day to be sure Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
al-yeti Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 why not take group a8 off the set procedure if nothingthere on that group the zones should surely remain active regardless of what you do? Ie as jw often reminds about the * , Making it up as I go along! Quote
ibruceuk Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 No different, I deleted them and readded them onto a different virtual RIO and still the same. I'm wondering whether the Smokes manage their apparent 5 year battery life by not sending supervision signals at all or as often. I've emailed honeywell about it but I'm not holding my breath. Quote
al-yeti Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Delete devices , disable groups ,restart , enable groups, put them on group1 and see what happens Lol @email Quote
