johnjoeedgar Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 Hi James by secured do you mean I can't reset the panel I only need it to work a couple of pir,s I have an old gardtec 300 in my house that's been going strong for the past 17 yyears and have the engineers manual somewhere but can't find it at the minute was hoping this might be the same and maybe get me up and running with the engineers codes Quote
9651 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 it locked,as in you cant default it back to factory parameters. Seriously you'd be better with a eurosec Quote
fertilebert Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) PC means no 240 v And #REMOVED# is the default user code , you could get an engineer to crash it and reprogramme , don't think any one on here will give you instructions how to do this however coz its trade only information. fertilebert Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Like the other members have said , is it worth the hassle , you could just go and buy yourself a Texecom veritas or similar for next to nowt. Quote
james.wilson Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 as above its very old Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Lwillis Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 As above, they can be locked. Bin it and fit something more up to date. Veritas or Euro Mini Quote
johnjoeedgar Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 thanks guys for the replies the comment from fertilebert is interesting as ive only powered it up with the battery to see if there was any resoponse from the panel if i connect it to the mains will this make a difference to the codes being put in ?? im not giving up yet this might be the solution to my problem im not bothered if i end up binning it but would like to give it another try Quote
fertilebert Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 (edited) Wont make any diiference code wise, like I said #REMOVED# is the default user code , which has obviously been changed , If your lucky the engineer code will still be the default and you will be able to reprogramme it .Your eng manual for your other Gardtec panel is the same by the way if you can find it , otherwise you will probrably find a manual on line .
